Mississippi is still a strongly Republican state and Cindy
Hyde-Smith is the incumbent. However her lead in polls has shrunk
from 13% to closer to 3%. That still put her in the lead, but it
means that Scott Colom does have a reasonable chance to win. This
race is worth watching, but the campaign for this seat has barely
begun.
